Lakshmi Pain and Palliative Care Trust is a charitable trust with a team of medical professionals and volunteers dedicated to improving quality of life of patients and their families affected by the distressing symptoms caused by long term and life-limiting illnesses like cancer.

Our Aim

• Give relief from pain and other physical symptoms such as vomiting, breathlessness, limb swelling and others in patients with prolonged and life-limiting illnesses.
• Explore emotional, psychological, social and spiritual issues which are very common in these patients and their families.
• Address financial issues which add to their burden and give wholesome relief to the patients and families
  • Medicines for pain relief and other symptoms are given free for those who cannot afford.
  • There is no consultation fee.
• Spread awareness among public and professionals on palliative care.
• Educate and train doctors, nurses, social workers and volunteers
• Help to develop Palliative Medicine in the State of Tamilnadu.
